onnectivity probability as well as features describing fibers biophysical properties, estimated from CCEP data recorded in 321 patients, in the AAL, AICHA, Brodmann, Freesurfer, Hammers, HCP-MMP1, Lausanne2008 (resolutions 33, 60, 125, 250, 500) and MarsAtlas parcellation schemes. The CCEP features are: peak and onset latency (LatStart), amplitude, duration, integral, velocity estimated from the onset latency and the fibers distance between the parcels and axonal conduction delays. Synaptic excitatory and inhibitory delays are also provided for each parcel. All features have been estimated separately for patients younger than 15 y.o. (group "0-15") and patients older than 15 y.o. (group "15-100").

F-TRACT atlas releases - October 2019

In its present (and non-definitive) form, the F-TRACT atlas is provided as .tsv (tab-separated values) files that can be read in any table editor. In addition, we provide a Matlab routine allowing to read the features of the atlas as Matlab variables. The atlas is provided for free use for research use only, with limited accuracy, which hopefully will improve with the different releases. Please cite David et al. (2013) Probabilistic functional tractography of the human cortex, NeuroImage, and Trebaul et al. (2018) Probabilistic functional tractography of the human cortex revisited, NeuroImage, when using the F-TRACT atlas.

How to use this atlas
=====================
Visualize the matrices in a table editor
- Download the last version of the atlas (see above).
- Once the archive has been extracted, select a desired age category, and you should see the .tsv files inside the directories corresponding to different parcellations.
- In the tsv files, stimulation parcels are listed vertically (rows) while recording parcels are listed horizontally (columns). For synaptic delays, only recording parcels are considered and listed vertically (rows), no matter the stimulation parcel.

Visualize the matrices with Matlab
- First add the "scripts" directory to the Matlab path
- Try the example_read_atlas.m script (after having updated the Matlab path) to see a basic use of the atlas :
reading data from .tsv or .txt files
displaying data as matrices (the same way as in Trebaul et al. (2018), NeuroImage) and histograms

Visualize the maps with MNE
- Download and install MNE (https://mne.tools/stable/index.html)
- Within the "scripts" directory, run ipython and import plot_parcellation
- Use the plot_parcellation.ftractSnapshots function to generate 3D rendering and screenshots for a given parcellation. A list of parcels and features can be specified (examples are provided just before the function definition).
